KVK - EVENT MANAGEMENT

We are delighted to present a brief introduction to KVK – EVENT MANAGEMENT.
The principal function of our company is the organisation of events such as concerts and balls, and event catering, etc., always taking clients’ specific wishes into account.

@SandraSommerkamp

Having cultivated an excellent network of contacts with selected musicians and ensembles in both within the world of classical music and the pop and jazz scenes, we try to place these artists into our events.

Prof. Gerhard Kanzian has been involved in music for thirty-seven yerars and since the beginning of 2009 he has been the managing director of his own company, KVK – EVENT MANAGEMENT – that of practicing musician in the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, producer and sound engineer.

In 1995 he established his own recording studio (KVK- Klangstudio) and produced acclaimed recordings for the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and also for the „Konzerthaus Vienna“, both of which have been broadcast on the radio and released by major record labels such as Sony Classic.

Between 2007 and 2010 he was the managing director of Symphonia, responsible for the Vienna Symphony Orchestra’s media presence, copyright issues, and concert projects which deviated from normal practice.
During his tenure as managing director of Symphonia he encountered a range of unique management challenges, and so, after making extensive inquiries, he decided to become self-employed and established KVK – EVENT MANAGEMENT.

KVK – EVENT MANAGEMENT was 2010 involved in a number of projects, including the organization of the Gala concert for the Aids Conference (Vienna 2010) with London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. This event had taken place in the Vienna Konzerthaus on July 22nd 2010 and its slogan was “Solidarity, Music and Hope”.

In the season 2014/15 we presented for the first time the cycle "TEA TIME CONCERTS" with a number of famous soloists and conductors and the chamberorchestra VIENNA CONCERTINO http://www.wienersymphoniker.at/Portals/0/Orchester/WS_EnsemblesPortfolio_FINAL.pdf) in Konzerthaus Vienna
